Join Our Patient Groups: Weight Loss, Walking & Balance Exercise

This new initiative has been established by the Patient Advisory Group. There are three groups to join: Weight Loss Group (‘Choose to lose’), Balance Exercise Group and Walking Group (Walk ‘n Talk). The groups are open to patients of the Practice aged 18 years and above.

Level 0 Covid Protocols for General Practice

The Scottish Government requires General Practice and other healthcare settings to have different infection control and physical distancing guidance to other places such as hospitals and shops. From 19 July 2021 (when we go to Level 0) various rules still apply in General Practice.

Patient Advisory Group Fundraising Success

Following the recent interest in the provision of Defibrillators, our Patient Advisory Group is delighted to announce that the group has received funding from Seagreen Micro Grants (£500) and another charitable trust which wishes to remain anonymous (£1,000) for support with the purchase of an External Automatic Defibrillator. The Group are seeking more members to help achieve their aims.

Antenatal Infant Feeding Classes via Zoom

If you are pregnant, or know of anyone who is, and you haven’t yet decided how you would like to feed baby or would just like some more information on infant feeding you can take part in antenatal infant feeding classes. These classes are free and run virtually once a month.
