Vaccinations for Carers

Coronavirus Vaccinations for Carers

Posted: 16 March 2021 · Practice news

People who provide vital face-to-face care and support for others, and who haven’t already been given an appointment, are now being invited to register for the coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine.

If you are aged 16 or over and provide face-to-face care for family or friends who need extra support, you’re now eligible. Providing face-to-face care can be anything from doing the shopping and preparing meals to giving personal and practical support.

Register online at: https://register.vacs.nhs.scot/

If you require assistance to register, you can register via the COVID-19 Vaccination Helpline on 0800 030 8013 (select option 3: "Register as an Unpaid Carer").

Further Information

Further information about vaccination for carers is available at NHS Inform.

If you aren't eligible yet, please wait to be contacted. NHS Scotland will let you know when it's your turn to have the vaccine.
