Staff Changes at the Practice
There have been various staff changes at the practice over the spring and summer, and there are also forthcoming changes too:
Retirement of Sandra Taylor (Health Care Assistant)
Sandra will be leaving us at the end of August 2020. She has been with the practice for 15 years both as receptionist, then phlebotomist. She will be missed by by the staff and patients alike and we wish her well for the future.
Retirement of Dr Malcolm MacLean
Dr MacLean was due to retire on 31st March 2020, but due to the Covid Pandemic he stayed on with us in order to help shoulder the demands placed on the practice. He has now hung up his stethoscope as at 30th June 2020 and we wish him a long a happy retirement. Malcolm intends to spend lots of time with his family, especially his grand children.
Retirement of Denise Buick (Practice Nurse)
Denise will also be leaving us in November 2020. She too has been with us for 15 years and I take this opportunity to thank her for her time with us and wish her well for the future.
Welcome back to Dr Sarah McLuckie
Dr McLuckie is in the final year of her GP training here at the practice, having first joined us back in 2018. She will remain here until fully qualified. Great to have her back and we wish her well.
Dr Trisha Chin
Dr Chin joins us as a 2nd year Foundation doctor. Trisha will be with us for four months and she says she is looking forward to the challenge of General Practice.
Annie McDonald (Health Care Assistant)
Annie will join us in September 2020 and has a wealth of experience, having worked both in General Practice and secondary care. She is looking forward to coming back to a General Practice and we wish her well in her new post here.
